Get ready for an unforgettable evening of high-caliber live music in New York City.

Legendary vibraphonist Mike Mainieri—whose storied career includes collaborations with icons from Billie Holiday and Buddy Rich to Carly Simon and Michael Brecker—is teaming up with Combo Nuvo, and drummer Steve Smith of Journey for a truly rare musical experience.

Joined by Dave Schroeder, Rich Shemaria, and a full 10-piece string section, Strings Attached bridges the gap between jazz improvisation and sweeping orchestral arrangements.

I am thrilled to announce that my new album, "A Kind and Gentle Light," is available on all streaming platforms.

This project is a deeply personal collaboration with the celebrated Italian pianist Antonio Figura. Antonio is a true bridge between the New York jazz scene and Italy’s rich romantic musical heritage, and together we’ve created a dialogue that unites my American melting pot influences with the passionate expression conjured from a jazz pianist cloaked in Italian opera.

The album features the beautiful cello playing of Michael Fitzpatrick (who has performed for the likes of the Dalai Lama and Pope Francis) and the heartfelt touch of Vietnamese guitarist Pham Quang Tri.
